A certified diversity executive during President Barack Obama’s presidency, Cuban-born Adis Vila was the first chief diversity officer at the U.S. Air Force Academy. For over 30 years, Vila has held numerous executive positions in business, government, and higher education in general management, business development, policy development, diversity and inclusion. A financial expert under SEC regulations and NYSE Rules, Vila holds the highest corporate governance designation of Board Leadership Fellow from the National Association of Corporate Directors. In 2018, Vila was named by Hispanic Executive a Leading Latina and by Directors & Boards a Director to Watch.
