From Cleopatra to Tina Fey, women have inspired – with powerful voices, steadfast dedication, and incredible sacrifice, women have shaped the course of history.

Cooper’s August book display is a celebration of inspirational women.  The display includes biographies and memoirs like The Meaning of Michelle, My Fight/Your Fight, Becoming Nicole, and The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo.  It contains the stories of the Radium Girls and the Rocket Girls, as well as fiction, graphic novels, and juvenile materials like The Handmaid’s Tale, Nimona, and A Wrinkle in Time.  It even includes films like The Help and Kill Bill, plus all four of the library’s Beyoncé CDs.

So come to Cooper, check out the display, and find a little inspiration.
