Landscape painting has a long and rich history bridging movement of art that include Impressionism, Abstraction and beyond. “Vintage Landscapes: Treasures from the Clemson Architectural Foundation” examines the field of landscape painting from a rich variety of perspectives. This small body of work examines the context of landscape painting from diverse artistic viewpoints that transport the viewer from the serine to the fantastic. Artists represented in the exhibit include Jesse Redwin Bardin, Carl R. Blair, Jessica Bowers, BFA ’12, Dan Brown, Jeanet Dreskin, MFA ’73, David Harlan, and Nelson Yoder.
