The 4-H Pullet Chain Project registration is now open.  The deadline to register is February 27th.  Please see the attached flyer for details and registration form.

The 4-H Pullet Chain project engages youth in learning life skills while having fun raising chick-ens. Each participant will receive a special manual on caring for day-old chicks and raising them into healthy, egg-producing hens. Participants should expect to start chicks out in a brooder (warm & protective environment) and move them in to a coop as they get older. Sign up today to join the flock! 

Registration in the project includes: 

-FREE participation in the Anderson County Poultry Show & Auction (prize money available) 

- FREE participation in Multi-County Poultry Clinic 

- Fowl Pox vaccination & Blood testing for show 

- *Enrollment in the SC 4-H Program, includes a t-shirt 

- Pullet Chain Manual & Record Book
