TIGERS ADVANCE Distinguished Speaker Series

Lee Alan Dugatkin, Professor and Distinguished University Scholar in Biological Sciences at the University of Louisville will visit as part of the TIGERS ADVANCE Distinguished Speaker Series. Professor Dugatkin is an evolutionary biologist and behavioral ecologist with a special interest in the history of science.  He has authored over 100 scholarly research articles and five books including a textbook on Animal Behavior.  His most recent book, How to Tame a Fox (and Build a Dog), co-authored with Lyudmila Trut, describes the development of the famous Russian fox experiments, where captive foxes bred for fur were also artificially selected for domestication features including good temperaments.  Dr. Dugatkin will be speaking in Watt Auditorium as part of the Biological Sciences lecture series.
