The Clemson University School of Health Research is proud to present The CHAT (Clemson Health Advancement Talks), a virtual lecture series focusing on health research and Innovation.

 

Topic: Gene Regulatory Networks analysis from single-cell multi-omics data 

Guest speaker: Zhana Duren, Assistant professor for the Center for Human Genetics, Department of Genetics and Biochemistry in the College of Science

 

Topic: Enhancing Ostomy Nursing Care and Outcomes Using a Human Factors Approach

Guest speaker: Melinda Harman, Associate professor of the Department of Bioengineering within the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences 

 

The CHAT typically meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month but due to Spring Break we will be meeting on the 2nd Thursday during March. 

 

The CHAT's goals are to: 

  • Facilitate interdisciplinary health-related research 
  • Recognize the outstanding contributions of health-related researchers across the University 
  • Highlight the depth and breadth of Clemson University's accomplishments in the Health Innovation research focus area
