The Clemson University School of Health Research is proud to present The CHAT (Clemson Health Advancement Talks), a new virtual lecture series focusing on health research and Innovation.


This lecture will feature Sachin Rustgi, Assistant Professor of Molecular Breeding in the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences, and Cheryl Ingram-Smith, Associate Professor in the College of Science's Department of Genetics and Biochemistry.


Rustgi will speak on "Developing non-immunogenic, safe, and surplus crops to feed the growing world population," and Ingram-Smith will speak on "The human parasite Entamoeba histolytica: understanding cyst formation."


The CHAT will meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month during the academic year.
