Students, faculty, staff, and community members are invited to participate in our Sprint for Success virtual 5K and fun run. Register today* to walk/run at your own pace between December 6-12 (finals week). This virtual 5K and fun run is meant to be a community and family-friendly event. We want to support the health and well-being of our Clemson family during the upcoming holiday season. There are no time-based prizes since all of our proceeds go directly to support the Staff Senate Endowed Scholarship. However, all 5K and 1-mile finishers will be entered into a prize drawing after the race!!! In addition, we will recognize the colleges/departments within Clemson that have the most registrations and finishers!

This 2020 Staff Senate Scholarship Virtual 5K (and 1-mile Fun Run) is organized by the Clemson University Staff Senate Scholarship Committee and supports monetary scholarships for children of Clemson staff. The Clemson Staff Senate is a group of the University’s staff who volunteer to serve and represent employees from each of their areas by communicating ideas and concerns to the Administration. The ultimate objective is to make Clemson an even better place to work and to strengthen the Clemson family. Their success helps the University to retain and attract talented employees, ultimately contributing to Clemson’s national reputation goals. The group is raising money for their Staff Senate Scholarship Fund, which provides fifteen $2,500 scholarships each year to students who are children of the University’s staff members. Scholarships are awarded based on academic merit and financial need. 

Registration Type:
Level 1 - $10 to run and receive a printable numbered bib
Level 2 - $25 to run and receive a long-sleeved t-shirt and bib
*Register by November 27th to guarantee your shirt/size. Level 1 registrations will be accepted until December 12th. More details will be emailed to participants following registration.
