South African Song and Struggle: (De)Composing Power

Global Black Studies presents scholar-activist Wilton Schereka from Cape Town, South Africa, in a monthly three-part “Song and Struggle” series to commemorate 30 years since the end of Apartheid. The first event on February 19 is a multimedia presentation that grounds the series by introducing the role of music in fostering and caring for the spirit of the anti-apartheid struggle.
