Dr. Karen A. Kemper of the Department of Public Health Sciences at Clemson University will share information about why we become more vulnerable to falls as we get older and how fear of falling can decrease independence and increase the risk of falling.

She will also share strategies for maintaining independence and optimizing physical function.
