September 26 (Thursday) 10:00am - 11:30am, Seminar – South Carolina Tea with Ron Thomas, Professor Emeritus of Food, Nutrition and Packaging Sciences, and Steve Lorch: Dr. Thomas and Mr. Lorch will discuss the Table Rock Tea Company and its development in Table Rock.  Tea production in South Carolina and Clemson’s involvement is not new and forms the unique relationship between Dr. Thomas and Mr. Lorch.  Their story and its link to our community is at the heart of this presentation.  There will be a no-host lunch following the presentation (location TBD) attending the lunch is a great way to continue the discussion with the presenters. A future trip to the Table Rock Tea Company is planned for later in the semester.
