United Way of Pickens' Free File program (aka VITA) is gearing up for tax season (mid-Jan. - mid-Apr 2023)! We need Volunteers and Site Coordinators! You will:
*Strengthen your resume
*Receive free IRS tax preparer training and certification
*Make an impact on the community and help others
*CEUs available for accountants and financial managers
*Gain experience!
The schedule is very flexible. Various days/times available. No experience necessary. Info Sessions will be held on campus Thur Nov 10th 1:00-1:45 pm and Fri Nov 11th 1:00-1:45 pm. Optional training sessions will be held in January. Certification is required and can be completed online. Stipend available for Site Coordinators.
Sites include Central-Clemson Library, Pickens Library, Sarlin Liberty Library, Hampton Easley Library, and Clemson Campus.
