"Threat Hunting at Morgan Stanley"

The Threat Hunting Team at Morgan Stanley is tasked with seeking out attacks against the Morgan Stanley network, develop better defensive strategies, and reduce risk to Morgan Stanley assets.  We also lead the Firm in threat hunting partnering with Infrastructure, Security, End User Technology and Technology &  Information Risk to remediate findings.  We also aim to raise the defensive posture of Morgan Stanley to impede, deter, and stop Advanced Persistent Threat class cyber actors.  We do this through development of advanced analytics allowing the Team to hunt for cyber threats.  We have designed and implemented a hunting platform across the Morgan Stanley network to find anomalies and unknowns in the network that could indicate adversary activities taking advantage of strategic risks and corporate resources.  We are engaged with the Open Source community and have briefed at multiple conferences and seminars about the technology we have implemented.

In this presentation we will be covering Threat Hunting Techniques, data delivery and standardization, Machine Learning techniques for Cyber Security and real word implementation examples presented  by Cyber Security experts with a combined 40 years of experience in Cyber Security.
