Renew your SC Adopt-a-Stream (SC AAS) Volunteer Monitoring certification online! The SC AAS online recertification course will be open from July 10th-31st. 

All volunteers wishing to continue entering data into the SC AAS Database must maintain an active certification to generate high-quality and reliable data. This means that volunteers must recertify annually, either by attending a workshop in person or completing this online recertification course through Canvas. The online course is available three times each year--in March, July, and November--for 2+ weeks each time. 

The online course is now available for Tidal Saltwater volunteers! The Macroinvertebrate and Freshwater monitoring protocols have also been updated, and new handbooks are available for each. 

With the completion of this course and a score of 80% or higher on the final recertification test(s), your volunteer certification will be renewed for one year, until July 2024.
