SC 4-H Wildlife Food Plot Project

The 2023-2024 South Carolina 4-H Wildlife Food Plot Project is now open for registration for South Carolina’s youth. This project is a hands-on, environmental education program and a competitive, independent-study project that allows youth (5-18 years of age) an opportunity to establish, maintain, and observe a wildlife food plot. Cost is $18 for current 4-H members (non-members will be expected to enroll in 4-H for the 2023-2024 club year). If you would like to participate, but do not have available land, your local Extension office may be able to help you locate a landowner with a suitable site. Youth can participate as individuals or as a group.

Youth are supported throughout the project by state and county Extension staff and through monthly newsletters and scheduled virtual learning opportunities. Food plot seed (Fall Signature Blend - provided by @southlandwildlife ) enough to cover 1/8 of an acre, will be provided along with access to the 4-H record book.
The deadline to register is Friday, August 25, 2023.
