Hippology is the study of horses. This contest tests the participant's knowledge of horses and horse-related items from any aspect of the horse industry. Contest elements include a written exam, horse judging, identification of items and/or their uses, solving a problem, and presenting the solution.

We are looking forward to having this event in person. It will be at Clemson, SC, Saturday, March 12, 2022.

Youth must be a 4-H member to participate. The cost is $10 per person. May register as an individual or as a team (3-4 youth). All team members must register in 4HOnline. The deadline to register is February 15.
