The Division of Inclusion and Equity is inviting Clemson faculty, staff and students to watch a three-part documentary, “Race: The Power of an Illusion,” and explore its companion website before a June 17 online community dialogue about race moderated by director of student media Wanda Johnson-Stokes.

Johnson-Stokes believes watching the documentary will help participants shape some of their emotions about the complicated questions raised by recent events, and open the floor to questions that could yield uncomfortable, yet authentic answers.

Watch the documentary at https://login.libproxy.clemson.edu/login?qurl=https%3a%2f%2fclemson.kanopy.com%2fvideo%2frace-power-illusion-0

I really have to say that this series had an impact on so many areasof my thoughts. I know look and think differently in my daily interactions. I have taken several Black History courses and never really felt they way I do now. Thank you for opening my mind to the plight that has always been within my sight.
