What’s New About Thermodynamics … in Space!
Paul Cassak is a theoretical and computational plasma physicist. His research focus is on magnetic reconnection and its applications using analytical techniques, large scale numerical simulations, and observational data as appropriate. His other research interests include fundamental plasma physics processes as they occur in reconnection, plasma turbulence, and shocks.
On Thursday, February 22, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Cassak will serve as a Provost Distinguished Lecturer addressing the topic of “What’s New About Thermodynamics … in Space!” at the Watt Family Innovation Center.
