Preservation Hall Jazz Band

Sponsored by Bill Dowler

"The past and promise of American music" (Rolling Stone), Preservation Hall Jazz Band is the flame-keeper of traditional New Orleans-style jazz.  Known for its rootsy, soulful sound, the group has been holding court in its famed French Quarter venue since 1961.  On hot summer nights, long lines form down St. Peter Street with fans eager to hear the joyful, infectious rhythms of the band that defines the genre.
