We invite you to attend the 2nd Annual Women’s Scholar Symposium, Picture a Scholar. Come hear from distinguished women scholars that engage in important contributions to Clemson’s excellence in research and scholarship. 

Exemplary women scholars from all Clemson
colleges and the library will present at this symposium. Kicking off this year’s program is nationally recognized guest speaker, Dr. Ershela Sims, Executive Director of WEPAN. Come and cheer on your college’s specially selected Women Scholar.

In support of this year’s theme, Advancing Scholarship through Mentorship, two panels will be conducted that discuss student mentorship in the morning and faculty mentoring in the afternoon. We encourage mentoring pairs and groups to attend the symposium where they will be recognized and have
the opportunity to take group pictures. The program concludes at 3 PM with a networking session where faculty will have the opportunity to interact with speakers, colleagues, Clemson’s University Commissions, and other special guests.
