Abstract: Seismic activities can induce air perturbations, which could propagate from near the surface of the Earth to the upper atmosphere at several hundreds of kilometers height.
Bio: Dr. Xing Meng is a Scientist at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology.
She obtained her Ph.D. degree in atmospheric, oceanic and space sciences and scientific computing from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2013.
