In South Carolina, any farmer or landowner needing to purchase and apply restricted use pesticides for the production of an agricultural crop on land they own or lease must possess a valid private applicators license. This training and exam are required for anyone wishing to earn a private applicators license.

For those who already have a valid private applicators license, this training also provides 5 continuing education credits, which are required for renewing the license.
