The 4-H Pullet Project engages youth in learning life skills while having fun raising chickens. Each participant will receive a special manual on caring for day old chicks and raising them into healthy, egg-producing hens. Participants should expect to start chicks out in a brooder (warm & protective environment) and move them into a coop as they get older. Sign up through your county extension office by March 31, 2015.
