On Wednesday, November 13, the Clemson Light Imaging Facility is hosting a demonstration of two new Olympus microscopes: the DSX1000 digital microscope and the LEXT OLS5000 3D laser confocal scanning microscope.
WHO SHOULD VISIT THE DEMO? Anyone with an interest in digital microscopy or optical profilometry
WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING? If you have research samples that would be interesting to visualize on these systems, you may bring a couple with you!
WHEN? Wednesday, November 13 from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm
WHERE? Life Sciences Facility, Room G026 (next to the CLIF offices)
HOW? No appointment necessary! Please feel free to drop in! If you would like to schedule a specific time, you may email us at imaging@clemson.edu
(If you can’t make it on Wednesday, Olympus will also have the systems set up during our contest reception on Tuesday, Nov 12 from 4:30 to 6:00)
