About this Event
View map Event is complimentary courtesy of Office of Major Fellowships Add to calendarThe National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship supports the next generation of leaders in science. This award provides three years of full funding (tuition plus a $34k annual stipend) and may be used at a research-based master's or doctoral program at any university in most STEM fields and certain social sciences. Most first or second year graduate students are eligible to apply.
NSF particularly welcomes application from groups traditionally underrepresented in STEM (women, underrepresented racial and ethnic minorities, veterans, first generation college students etc). You must be a citizen or permanent resident. Strong candidates will have undergraduate research experience. This session will provide an introduction to the program as well as share the resources and support the Office of Major Fellowships can provide to applicants. Lunch is provided.
