The Next Up Invitational is an exhibition of work selected by the Clemson Curates Creative Inquiry team inviting seventeen undergraduate art students to showcase their work. On view are twenty-three works selected from over 170 submissions to the Foundations Review, which took place spring 2017. Participating artists: Melina Alberti, Mariana Aubad, Bandon Bolton, Kate Comen, Addie Coward, Samuel Crain, Anna Davis, Hannah Deel, Laura Lemere, Kara Lerchenfeld, Alexis Likes, Samuel New, Pat Owens, Walter Patrick, Hannah Rodgers, Sydney Smith and Taylor Staaf.

The Dean of the Architecture, Arts and Humanities, Rick Goodstein announced Hannah Rodgers as the 2017-2018 Best in Show award winner.

As a result of the exhibit, The South Carolina Review selected Kate Comen's work for the cover of their 2018 Spring Issue.
