In this camp, children will explore the diverse ecosystems of South Carolina. Using the Natural Heritage Garden as our guide, we’ll take a journey from the mountains to the sea, and we’ll discover the interesting plants, animals and people who have called these spaces home throughout our state’s history. Participants will enjoy daily hikes in the Garden, various games and activities, and learning about historical sites that are housed within the Garden. Take home projects will include hand-dyed shirts, pottery and more!
MUST REGISTER BY END OF DAY ON MAY 29.
Ages: 6-12
Camp Dates: June 13-17
Time: Drop off is from 8:30- 9 a.m., Camp is 9am-3pm
***Due to the unpredictability of COVID-19, Clemson University may impose specific protocols should the need arise. A pre-arrival test ~ 5 days before the event start and/or day-of COVID-19 testing could become a possible requirement for each camper.
