David Beasley, former South Carolina governor and former Executive Director of the United Nations World Food Program, will be speaking at the Law and Humanities event "Food Insecurity: Local and Global". Beasley recently accepted the Noble Peace Prize on behalf of the World Food Program and continues to champion the cause of food security for those affected by both man-made and natural disasters.
