The Maudelle Finley Award for 4-H Spirit recognizes outstanding youth that show the true spirit of 4-H in Laurens County. Mrs. Finley was a strong and faithful volunteer of Laurens County 4-H for numerous years. She believed in the importance of 4-H and was a loyal member and volunteer of the program.

The Rose Torrey Award recoginzes outstanding volunteers in the Laurens County 4-H program. Mrs. Torrey was also a strong and faithful volunteer of Laurens County 4-H. She also believe that , "volunteerism is the price you pay for the space you take."
