OLLI invites you a screening of the film “Just Mercy, ” which follows Bryan Stevenson, a world-renowned civil rights defense attorney, as he works to serve justice and free a wrongfully accused death row prisoner. Bryan Stevenson was a young lawyer when he founded the Equal Justice Initiative, a nonprofit organization dedicated to defending the incarcerated. His role in "Just Mercy" highlights America’s broken criminal justice system and confronts its many inequalities and injustices.
