Using 17 children’s pop-up books from the Cooper Library as inspiration, we celebrate folding, bending, twisting, and layering ‘flat’ materials to achieve lively—and surprising—3-D effects. Similarly, second-year studio instruction in architecture explores folding techniques that enable structures to stand, span, enclose, expand, and even react to variable conditions--or, simply to ‘Wow.’ On "the Boulevard" outside the Gunnin Library through the month of February.
