About this Event
Add to calendarJoin the Office of Major Fellowships to learn more about the Fulbright U.S. Student Program! The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is the Department of State's premier cultural exchange program, and provides over 2,000 grants for individually designed study/research projects or English Teaching Assistantships for 9-12 months in over 140 countries. Fulbright students meet, work, live with and learn from the people of the host country, sharing daily experiences. The program facilitates cultural exchange through direct interaction on an individual basis in the classroom, field, home, and in routine tasks. Through engagement in the community, Fulbright students interact with their hosts on a one-to-one basis in an atmosphere of openness, academic integrity, and intellectual freedom, thereby promoting mutual understanding. Grant lengths and dates vary by country, but are typically 9-12 months. Current undergraduates must be on track to receive a bachelor's degree by August 2026. Graduates of all classifications are eligible and the OMF is happy to support applications by alums. (Please note: you must be a US citizen.)
In this session, we will discuss the variety of opportunities available, the components of a successful application, and how our office can support you through the process. For more information, please visit https://us.fulbrightonline.org.
Sandwiches and snacks will be provided. If you have any specific dietary needs, please email fellowships@clemson.edu.
