The Clemson Experimental Forest (CEF) is an extraordinary space for research, education, and recreation.

South Carolina 4-H Youth Development (SC 4-H) Natural Resources Program is seeking Volunteers, Vendors, and Organizations to support an annual event that will engage CU students, 4-H youth, and Community partners in collaborative, hands-on, experiential learning activities. This is made possible by staff  & students from CAFLS, Cooperative Extension, and PRTM.

Forest Fest will be held April 6, 2024, in the North Forest(Issaqueena).

The purpose of this event is to:

  • Showcase research, education, and recreation throughout the Clemson Experimental Forest.
  • Collaborate across the University to offer meaningful skill building for our students through a hands-on learning opportunity and improve career awareness.
  • Strengthen relationships with industry partners and government agencies in the fields of Natural Resources, Forestry, Wildlife, Recreation and Youth Development.
  • Fulfill the Extension mission through providing an opportunity to engage the public and build relationships with the surrounding communities.
  • Encourage youth, families, and students to discover and explore the ecosystems of the Upstate region (Blueridge & Piedmont) represented in the CEF.

This is a free, open and public event. No registration required.
