FoodFORWARD 2022 Research Symposium

The FoodFORWARD 2022 Research Symposium will bring together Clemson faculty members, graduate students, post-docs, extension agents and staff for a day of activities designed to facilitate food research. Activities will include expert talks, poster sessions and topic tables. 

 

The event will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022, from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Watt Family Innovation Center, and also streamed through all research and education centers in South Carolina.

 

Keynote speaker will be noted rural sociologist Alton Thompson, executive director of the Association of 1890 Research Directors. 

 

Researchers are encouraged to submit presentation proposals for the symposium. Topics covering the entire range of food systems research are welcome, especially those at the nexus of agriculture, health and rural economic development. 

 

Information about proposal submission and registration deadlines will be available in the coming weeks.
