UPDATE: Clemson University officials have closely monitored the weather forecast for this afternoon’s First Friday Parade. With a severe threat of rain and lightning during the parade lineup between 4 and 6 p.m., the decision has been made to cancel today’s festivities.
Organizers apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but the safety of both participants and spectators is the No. 1 priority.
