August 4 (Tuesday) 10:00am – 11:00am, Online Presentation: Buildings and Landscapes, Teaching the Art of Freehand Drawing with Lynn Craig, FAIA, RIBA, Professor Emeritus of Architecture: Life is full of adventures, both planned and spontaneous. Engaging with the landscapes and people around us inspires our creative selves to communicate the pleasures and wonders of what we see. Professor Lynn Craig has been teaching Freehand Drawing to architecture and landscape students using the Clemson campus as the palette to explore different types of sketching tools to draw its buildings and landscapes. During this one hour, online interactive Zoom demonstration and presentation, Lynn will share with you what and how he will connect and communicate with his students, and with the added bonus that you may just want to pick up that almost forgotten pencil or pen and open up a sketchbook and remember what it is like to draw the world around you. Lynn’s book Draw It, A Workshop Manual for Sketching and Drawing, is in the Emeritus College library.
Please contact Nicci Hanewald at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or if you would like information about joining the presentation.
