Emeritus College Outing at the CEF

May 6 (Thursday) 10:00am – 12:00pm, EC Outing: Walk through the Clemson Experimental Forest with James Wilkens (CEF Education and Resource Director) and Russ Hardee (CEF Manager): We will meet at Fant’s Grove Church, please be there at 10:00am. We will then make our way to Watershed Road. Located in the Fant’s Grove Wildlife Management Area in the South Forest, Watershed Road provides access to popular teaching and demonstration sites in the Clemson Experimental Forest that feature many of our sustainable forest management activities. Other highlights include a variety of wildlife habitats, plant communities including a 30+ acre beaver pond. Please dress accordingly for weather and this moderate level hike. RSVPS are a must for this outing and carpooling is encouraged. What a great way to spend a morning!
