Emeritus College Online Seminar with Dr. Rachel Mayo

April 22 (Thursday) 10:00am-11:30am, Online Seminar: Not Our First Pandemic:  The Need for Epidemiology in the 21st Century with Dr. Rachel Mayo, Professor and Director of Research in the Department of Public Health Sciences: Dr. Mayo has been the principal or co-investigator on more than $4 million in grants and contracts to support her work. She serves on a number of state and national boards. Her seminar will encompass a thought-provoking and informative discussion of historical pandemics. We will learn about commonalities among the bubonic plague, HIV/AIDS and the current Covid-19 pandemic and the need for epidemiology now more than ever. The session promises to be very informative!
