Emeritus College Online Seminar with Dr. Delphine Dean

February 2 (Tuesday) 10:00am-11:30am, Online Seminar: University COVID Testing with Dr. Delphine Dean, Ron and Jane Lindsay Family Innovation Professor of Bioengineering: Dr. Dean, the newest member of the Class of ‘39, will join us to discuss her groundbreaking research on testing saliva to determine COVID-19 infections.  Dr. Dean set up Clemson’s first high complexity clinical diagnostics (CLIA) lab on campus to run all of the University’s COVID-19 screening tests. The lab runs 1000s tests a day. Dr. Dean will discuss her work on the virus and how she and her students established a state-of-the-art testing center on Clemson’s campus.
