About this Event
February 2, 2022 (Wednesday) 10:00am – 11:30 am, Online Seminar: A Groundhog Day Examination of the U.S. Coronavirus Economy with Dr. Bruce Yandle: The U.S. economy is bruised, but not beaten (we hope) by the COVID pandemic. Indeed, the pandemic has ushered in some of the best of times as well as some of the worst. With assistance of lots of images, this session will examine how major parts of the economy have been affected by COVID, and steps taken to counter it, and where the transformed economy may be headed. Along the way, the session will focus on the relative economic prospects of regions across the United States and how pandemic forces have generated winners and losers.
