December 2, 2021 (Thursday) 10:00am – 11:30am, Hybrid Seminar: Mosquitoes, Mosquito Vectored Diseases, and Mosquito control in Urban Settings with Dr. Tim Drake, State Entomologist: This presentation will explore several different species of mosquitoes likely to transmit human disease pathogens along with some diseases that are both endemic in the southeastern US and those that pose a potential threat to human populations. It also will cover some control strategies that can be implemented to prevent and control the mosquitoes most likely to transmit human diseases.
