Documenting Your Family Story

The Call My Name Coalition is hosting "Documenting Your Family Story," an afternoon of digitizing, recording and sharing local African-American history.

It is free and open to the public thanks to an NEH "Common Heritage" grant Rhondda Thomas and Lee Morrissey were awarded.

People who have memorabilia of African-American life in the Clemson area are welcome to bring those materials for digital preservation. Clemson staff will be scanning photos, newspapers, letters and any other materials from Clemson African-American life and returning the materials and scanned copies to their owners.
