This is a 35-minute documentary covering Real Madrid's (Spain) and FC St. Pauli's (Germany)
experiences during authoritarian regimes and how they have promoted or suppressed these
pasts at their stadium tours and museums.
This documentary reveals how heritage and tourism can promote historical awareness and
inaccurate pasts, with the clubs' differences in dealing with diffcult pasts directly influenced
by contemporary commercial interests.
All are welcome for the film and light refreshments in the Hunter Auditorium (Room 100) at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
