CU Engage: Exploring Community-Engaged Learning

Workshop leader: TeachingForward Fellow Dr. Lauren Duffy
For new or experienced service-learning faculty, this workshop will provide an overview of community-engaged learning and ways to meaningfully incorporate the pedagogy into their classes. From philosophical foundations and ethical implications of engaging students with community, to best practices for critical reflection, assignment creation, and simple risk management protocol, participants will walk away with tools to help facilitate the use of this approach.  Register here:
