This roundtable will feature scholar Sarah Le Pichon, who conducts workshops on trauma-informed teaching at UT Austin. She will be part of a roundtable discussion with scholars and campus actors whose work relates to trauma, mental health, marginalized communities, and abuse prevention. What does it mean to have a safe space? Why are safe spaces crucial to our learning and our community-building practices? How do we go about fostering safe spaces? These are some of the questions that we will seek to address together.
