Coffee with Veterans and First Responders is a three-hour Greenville-based, monthly event designed to assist veterans and first responders in understanding the employment environment from the point of view of people who do the hiring. For the first hour and a half of each “coffee” session, North American Rescue HR Director, Anna Harris and fellow veteran Rick Silva, Director of HR for Interim Healthcare of the Upstate, give veterans tips on networking, resume building, and other job-hunting skills. For the second half, they team the veterans up with community leaders and let them show what they’ve learned.

 
Clemson’s Office of Military & Veteran Engagement has been live-streaming these monthly events in their on-campus locations for our Clemson military-connected students, now we are looking to add the networking piece to complete the experience. The live stream starts at 9:00 a.m. for students and we would like community leaders and employers to join these students for the networking portion from 10:30 until 12:00.
