In recent years, Chinese outbound investment has increased significantly, including that comes to the United States, which directly employs more than 80,000 Americans with $46 billion in 1,583 Chinese establishments. This event is designed to give the audience a better understanding of U.S.-China relations as well as the effect of Chinese investment on our own communities, in a dialogue and panel discussion with four distinguished speakers.
CHRISTIAN MURCK, president of American Chamber of Commerce in China (2010-13), now serves on the International Advisory Council of APCO Worldwide and as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Yale-China Association. ROBERT RUBIN, U.S. Secretary of the Treasury (1995-99), served on the Board of Directors at Citigroup before joining Center view Partners as a senior counselor in 2010. SHELDON A. DAY has served as mayor of the City of Thomasville (AL) since 1996. DANIEL ROSEN, a senior advisor for international economic policy on the White House National Economic Council and National Security Council, founded Rhodium Group in [year] that combines policy experience, quantitative economic tools and on-the-ground research to analyze disruptive global trends.
