Ride and Tie is one rider and one runner that travel a marked trail for a predetermined distance, 5, 9, 15 or 30 miles.  The rider and runner must switch at least 6 times during the race.  Equithon is one rider and one runner.  Each do a loop, the runner can't begin their loop until the rider has completed their loop and the horse has passed the vet check.  One person may choose to both ride and run.

A veterinarian is on site to monitor the horses.  We will be using the Fant's Grove Trailhead, which is adjacent to Garrison Arena.  Start and finish all distances at the trailhead.  We will use the Garrison Arena horse stalls for horses overnight.
