Professional Development Training for faculty and staff interested in supporting Clemson Student Veterans!

What is Green Zone Training? GZT is an initiative to support student veterans and educate the campus community. Green Zone Training provides faculty, staff, and students with an understanding of the military experience of student veterans as they transition from military to campus life. This one-hour training is specific to Clemson faculty and staff interested in administrative support and building a veteran-inclusive college campus.

The goals of Green Zone Training are:

1. Understand who student veterans are
2. Understand where they come from
3. Learn about the veteran experience in college
4. Learn what you can do to support student veterans
5. Familiarize yourself with on- and off-campus veteran resources

Upon completion, participants will receive a Green Zone Training sticker to place on their office door, laptop, or workstation. Veterans will see this and recognize them as a Green Zone Ally.  Participants will also receive resources that will aid in their service as an advocate for any veteran on campus.
