A student-run conference held annually at Clemson University, the Food Summit serves as a platform to discuss contemporary issues of food sustainability, nutrition and health, food politics, and cultural impacts as they relate to the Upstate and the globe, the summit encourages students to engage these issues and connect with other students and organizations to effect change on campus and in their communities. This year participants will hear a keynote address given by K. Rashid Nuri of Truly Living Well, followed by a number of break-out sessions with various speakers. A free food truck lunch featuring locally-sourced ingredients is included for all participants.
